I am one of those parents that don't believe in buying too many toys for my kids. As it is, we have too many toys. Most were given as presents. Others were bought by us because we're not completely boring parents either. We are actually very picky about what toys we buy. I just don't get why some parents buy their kids EVERYTHING. Some even claim they don't buy too many things, but that's just them underestimating their weakness.
I certainly don't mean to write this off as someone whose parenting style has never been criticized. As a parent, that is part of the package that one must face throughout their parenthood.
